CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield National Half Marathon Team Relay – March 26, 2011
WRC is forming teams for the CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield National Half Marathon Team Relay (3 legs: 5 miles, 5 miles, and 3.1 miles). We would like to have a strong WRC presence. We already have one all-female team (Christine, Joanna, and Amanda) and one all-male team (John K., Jerry I., and Dan Y.).

Would You Like a Complimentary Entry for the 2011 National Marathon or Half?
Hi Washington Running Club–
I hope you are all enjoying the fall weather!!
My office is hosting a the Anthem Great Pumpkin 5k in Reston Town Center this Saturday morning, and we still have a few volunteer positions to fill. We are still looking for a few volunteers to help us out with the water stations, registration, etc. The weather is supposed to be beautiful and you will get to enjoy Octoberfest which is taking place in the Town Center right after the event.
I am offering a complimentary entry to either the National Marathon or Half Marathon for last minute volunteers that would like to sign-up for Saturday. Feel free to pass thing along to friends, but have them contact me directly about it, since I am not offering that deal to everyone…
