When: Saturday, March 5, 2011, 7PM – ??
Where: Ellington Apartments Party Suite, 1301 U St NW, Washington, DC 20009; www.ellingtonapartments.com
Metro: U Street
Admission: 0-$10 (still computing)
Food: snacks/desserts provided
Drink: BYOB, though club will provide limited wine, beer and sodas.

Friendly dues reminder: if you have not done so, please pay your 2011 dues! $20 for individuals; $30 for families. Mail your check (made out to Washington Running Club or WRC) to James Scarborough, PO Box 545, McLean, VA 22101. Please include postal- and email addresses with check.

Dan Yi Takes 2nd Place at the North Central Trail Marathon
November 27, 2010 – Dan Yi finished second place in the North Central Trail Marathon with a time of 2:38:08! Dan finished between the Ladd brothers, certainly spoiling their attempt at a 1 – 2 finish. Great race Dan!

CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield National Half Marathon Team Relay – March 26, 2011
WRC is forming teams for the CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield National Half Marathon Team Relay (3 legs: 5 miles, 5 miles, and 3.1 miles). We would like to have a strong WRC presence. We already have one all-female team (Christine, Joanna, and Amanda) and one all-male team (John K., Jerry I., and Dan Y.).
