Item 1: Nominate a WRC member for an award

What: Annual awards will be given at the club party (March 5, 2011) for the following:
Runner of the year
Most improved runner
Most inspirational runner
Otherwise noteworthy
Club service (the Alfred tomFelde Trophy)
How: Email your nomination (along with a sentence or two explaining why) to daniel.yi@gmail.com.

Deadline: through but not after Wednesday, March 2, 2011.

Item 2: Join our St. Pat’s Day 8k team!

Join the Washington Running Club team! We need runners. “Well, I wouldn’t really help the team…” not accepted!

How:
When registering, enter “Washington Running Club” (not “WRC”) in the “Team Name if participating as a team” box. It’s right below “Age on race day.”

Friendly dues reminder: if you have not done so, please pay your 2011 dues! $20 for individuals; $30 for families. Mail your check (made out to Washington Running Club or WRC) to James Scarborough, PO Box 545, McLean, VA 22101. Please include postal- and email addresses with check.
