What: WRC 2010 Holiday Party
When: Saturday, March 5, 2011, 7PM – ??
Where: Ellington Apartments Party Suite, 1301 U St NW, Washington, DC 20009; www.ellingtonapartments.com

Metro: U Street
Admission: 0-$10 (still computing)
Food: snacks/desserts provided
Drink: BYOB, though club will provide limited wine, beer and sodas.

Would You Like a Complimentary Entry for the 2011 National Marathon or Half?

Hi Washington Running Club–

I hope you are all enjoying the fall weather!!

My office is hosting a the Anthem Great Pumpkin 5k in Reston Town Center this Saturday morning, and we still have a few volunteer positions to fill. We are still looking for a few volunteers to help us out with the water stations, registration, etc. The weather is supposed to be beautiful and you will get to enjoy Octoberfest which is taking place in the Town Center right after the event.

I am offering a complimentary entry to either the National Marathon or Half Marathon for last minute volunteers that would like to sign-up for Saturday. Feel free to pass thing along to friends, but have them contact me directly about it, since I am not offering that deal to everyone…

October 3rd WRC Smoothie Event!

Join us for smoothies after the long run on October 3rd!

We’ve got the yogurt, ice, blender, and rooftop patio in Georgetown! Grab some post-run coffee at Dean & Deluca and then bring your own fruit, protein powder, etc. to Alex’s studio on N St. (Between Wisconsin and 33rd). If the weather is chilly or rainy we will reschedule.

What: Make your own smoothies in the sun
