Join local running and medical experts as they discuss race preparation, injury prevention, a course preview of the Marine Corps Marathon, and race-day tips.
Panelists include:
- Neal Bowes, PhD: Sports psychologist with over 10 years of experience supporting Olympic athletes.
- Edmund Burke: Accomplished marathoner (2:21 PR), Olympic Trials marathon runner.
- Dr. Jean Guitierrez, PhD: Sports nutritionist and exercise physiologist, Assistant Professor at GWU.
- Dr. Victor Ibrahim, MD: Sports medicine specialist, and medical team captain for the New York City Marathon.
The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Robert Gillanders, DPT, an experienced physical therapist and marathon/ultramarathon runner.
