Road Closures for the Next Two Sundays in October 2012
These road closures may impact your ability to get to the WRC Sunday Distance Run, so plan accordingly! The Army Ten Miler is on Sunday, October 21, 2012 (8 a.m. start). Time Change to 8:00 a.m. for Sunday Distance Run Effective Immediately
Fall is in the air and the record heat of the summer is a memory. Effective immediately, the Sunday Distance run will return to its regularly scheduled time of 8:00 a.m. That means that on Sunday, September 23, 2012, we start at 8 a.m. in our usual spot, the north side of the 3300 block of M Street, NW, D.C. in front of the CB2 store.
Sunday Distance Run Time Change to 7:00 a.m.
The summer heat and humidity have arrived, so in an effort to beat the heat, WRC will start our Sunday Distance run an hour earlier effective Sunday, June 17, 2012 (Father’s Day). The 7 a.m. start time will be in effect until further notice.

Daylight savings time ends Sunday, November 6th, 2011 (at 2 a.m., if you want to be precise about when you adjust your clocks and watches). Clocks are set back one hour = one hour extra of sleep prior to our Sunday run at 8 a.m. I hope to see you out there!
No Run Scheduled for Sunday, October 30, 2011 due to MCM
Due to the running of the Marine Corps Marathon on Sunday, October 30, 2011, WRC will not be meeting up for a run. All WRC members, runners, and non-runners alike are highly encouraged to cheer on the MCM participants. Good luck to all the runners next weekend!
Sunday Run Time Change: 8:00 a.m starting September 25th
Sunday runs will start at 8:00 a.m. beginning September 25, 2011. We survived the summer heat and humidity and now it is time to enjoy the fall weather and racing season. We’ve definitely put in the sweat over this summer and hope that this translates into solid performances this fall.
