July felt like a great time to showcase our new hats and singlets! (Thanks so much to our secretary Katie B and the singlet committee for their hard work getting these out to our club.)

June 2026 Race Highlights

Congrats to those that had races in June! Global Running Day is in the month of June so what a fine time to partake in celebrating ourselves as runners! Cheers everyone!

Mile time trial– 6/3/2026 Katie Freix did the DCRR Global Running Day mile time trial – 6:20’s min/mi, Daniel Eisert, DCRR Global Running Day mile time trial – 5:17min/mi, Daltyn Payne, DCRR Global Running Day mile time trial – 5:20’s min/mi and on 6/6/2026 James Scarborough did a 1.5M, Triple Crown Track 1.5M, Arlington VA, 12:54, 4th place, James Scarborough, CBRC Track 1M, Patuxent HS, Lusby MD, 8:11, 2nd place

5k- Frithjov Iversen, DCRR Run After the Women 5k 24:28, Tony Lopacki, DC Roadrunners 5K at Bluemont Park. 10 min/mile. 31:06 and Parkrun Ohio and Erie Canal Park 5K. 30:32, James Scarborough, Suds and Soles 5K, Rockville MD, 28:10, 316th place, Tidal Basin Run 5K, Arlington VA, 29:21, 4th place, HCS Cross Country 5K, Howard HS, Columbia MD, 29:50, 43rd place.

Marathon- Sergey Volcov did the Midnight Sun Marathon Tromsø Norway 3:59:13, very cool!

Eric was a pacer for the 5k at the Light Horse track club Unbridled event. Daniel, Daltyn and friends were scheduled to do the DMR event but due to rain/lightning it was canceled.
