Once upon a time, WRC’s antecedent clubs, dating back to the 1950s, had patches in the national colors of Germany: black, red, and gold. This fine example comes from the estate of Norman Brand, and will be passed along to future recipients of the Alfred tomFelde Perpetual  Trophy.

We don’t need no stinking badges. But maybe we should issue some new patches, anyway?
