Directions to the WRC Track Workout

Washington-Lee High School, Arlington, VA

Club track workouts for men and women are on Wednesdays and begin at 6:30 p.m. If you can show up earlier to warm up and stretch, all the better. We meet at the bleachers on the opposite side of the track as the bathrooms.

WRC track coordinator: Erica Morton

Directions to the Track
The High School’s address is 1300 N. Quincy St., Arlington, VA, but the track is on the corner of Washington Blvd and Stafford Street.

From the Ballston Metro Stop (Orange Line): Cross Fairfax Drive and walk to Stafford Street. Take a left on Stafford Street and continue to Washington Blvd. The track is straight ahead on the corner of Washington Blvd.

From 395: Take the Washington Blvd. exit (Exit 8A toward VA244/Columbia Pike). Follow Washington Blvd. about 3 miles (through the Clarendon intersection). Look for Stafford Street and take a right on it (just past the track on your right). Park on the streets near the park, but please be respectful of the neighbors.

From I-66 Going East: Take the Glebe Road exit -- which actually puts you on Fairfax Drive. Follow Fairfax Dr. through the light on Glebe Road and then turn left onto Stafford St. Follow Stafford and cross over Washington Blvd. You will see the track diagonally across Washington Blvd. Go through the light and park along the streets near the track.

From I-66 Going West: Take the Glebe Road East exit. Take a left on Glebe Rd and then a left onto Fairfax Drive. Follow Fairfax Drive to Stafford Street and turn left and continue to Washington Blvd. You will see the track diagonally across Washington Blvd. Go through the light and across Washington Blvd and park along streets near the track.

From U.S. 50: Take the Glebe Road North exit. Take Glebe Road to Fairfax Drive and turn right. Follow Fairfax Drive to Stafford St. and turn left. Continue to Washington Blvd where you will see the track diagonally across Washington Blvd. Go through the light across Washington Blvd and park along the streets near the track.

When the track is occupied because of a high school event, we meet on Stafford Street and then run a fartlek workout on the W & OD trail nearby.
