"WRC Club Challenge 8K" Race

| When? Saturday, September 18, 2004 at 9 a.m. | Where? The Carderock Recreation Area, MD |
| The race course is out and back along the flat yet scenic C & O Towpath. Run on a team, run individually! |
| Cost: WRC members $2, Non-members $5. Join the WRC for $15 individual, or $25 for a family and receive the club discount. You can join the club at the race, or even better, right now - go here. (See the links at the bottom of the page to learn more about the WRC.) |
| Entry and Prizes: individual and team.
Individual: top five male and female overall & top male and female masters runners. Teams (running club or workplace) are co-ed. Tope two co-ed teams get prizes. Team size: you must have at least 3 team members including 1 female. Team scoring: top 3 team members (must include at least 1 female) counted in the scoring (by finishing place).

| Directions: From the beltway, take exit 41 (Carderock/Glen Echo) onto the Clara Barton Parkway. Go 1 mile to the David Taylor Naval Surface Warfare Test Center. Turn off to the right, go over the overpass to Carderock, make a right into the area. Registration (starting at 8 a.m.) will be at the first parking area. See map below. |
